SOMATIC RELATIONSHIP WORK FOR COUPLES

WHERE PRESENCE BECOMES THE MEDIUM

For more than fifteen years, I have been interested in what happens between two people beneath what either consciously intends.

Desire. Protection. Closeness. Autonomy.

The body's response before language arrives

My work has grown from learning to read what reveals itself there.

This work began as observation.

That even devoted partners,
skilled communicators
and deeply conscious people
could reach a threshold.

They could speak clearly.
They could understand each other.
They could name the pattern.

And still, something in the body sat under the surface.

Not unwilling.
Not hidden.
Simply untouched by language.

This is where my work began.

In the space between
what people say they want,
and what their nervous systems
are prepared to allow.

Holding the space where relationship becomes an art of attention.

Over the years my path moved through somatic trauma work, tantric practice, shadow integration, and relational study — not as separate methods, but as one unfolding language of contact.

Today that language shapes my work with couples, informed by Somatic Experiencing™ (Peter Levine), Dark Eros (John Hawken) + the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy (Dr. Ellyn Bader).

WHAT BECAME
SHADOW SOMATICS™

Intimacy does not deepen through more technique alone.

Again and again, I found that the decisive movements were happening beneath conscious intention — in the body, in protection, in desire, and in the moment contact changed.

Over time, those observations became Shadow Somatics™: the approach I developed for working with the embodied patterns shaping intimacy and relationship.

HOW THE WORK IS HELD

My work with couples is private by nature.

I mostly work with one couple at a time, allowing the process to respond to the particular relationship in front of me — its pace, its tenderness, its resistance, its desire and the places where something less obvious is asking for attention.

There is no performance of intimacy here, and no fixed script for what a relationship should become. The work is shaped through consent, discretion and close observation, with enough structure to hold the process and enough responsiveness for it to remain genuinely personal.

What is shared remains within the container.

What is practised is chosen with care.

And what matters is not how much is revealed, but whether what becomes visible can be met with greater precision, honesty and choice.

For Whom.

Committed couples ready to work in the body.

Curious to celebrate each other through more refined approaches to intimacy — with greater attention, depth + range.

Post‑rupture repair, desire mismatch or looping conflict.

Willing to move slowly, precisely + bring what is discovered back into the relationship itself.

Not your Container.

Active addiction without parallel treatment.

Acute crisis, ongoing abuse or court‑mandated work.

Seeking tips, quick fixes, performance exercises.

Requesting my physical participation in your intimacy
(touch or sexual services).

Perhaps the most important part of this work is not what I know about relationships, but the quality of attention I bring to the relationship in front of me.
